LOCATION
The event will be held at St Peter’s Campsite in North Moreton. St. Peters is a small family run campsite, with beautiful views of rolling countryside, horses grazing and red kites flying overhead. There is a shipping container with two hot electric showers a 10 minute stroll from our area of the site, and there will be a shower tent set up in our area as well as shared portaloos. It is recommended that you bring your own means to wash if you do not wish to walk to the shower.
The site is secluded with great views. It is dog friendly. North Moreton is a beautiful village featuring a good local pub, a play area for children, open fields and country walks.
Nearby are the Wittenham clumps, an incredibly beautiful local beauty spot with an iron age hill fort, wonderful views of the Thames Valley with walks through woods, open meadows and down to the Pooh sticks bridge over the river.
Europe's oldest highway the Ridgeway is only minutes away across the Berkshire downs and Chiltern hills , a wonderful place to walk or cycle. Oxford is only 25 minutes away by road or rail where museums, galleries and the dreaming spires await. Wallingford 3 miles to the east and the surrounding villages are the settings for Midsomer murders.
